Renovation of public infrastructure in the triangle of Žirmūnų, Minties and Tuskulėnų streets

The first comprehensive redevelopment of public spaces in the Žirmūnai residential area in the modern history of Vilnius has been completed. New pedestrian and bicycle paths, sports and active recreation areas, recreational pedestrian paths were installed. Also, part of M. Katkaus Street was also reconstructed with storm water networks and new parking lots . The area has been renovated with a small street, new modern lighting, fixed speed control equipment in Žirmūnų and Tuskulėnų streets, a renewed network of pedestrian and intersection traffic lights, and new video surveillance equipment. New trees and shrubs have been planted throughout the Žirmūnai Triangle to connect green spaces and become green corridors.
